I have been a patient in Huntington Valley nursing facility in Huntington Beach for two weeks. They are stellar in all aspects of their physical therapy, which is most important. I only have been here two weeks and when I came in, I couldn’t walk without a walker or help getting up too, and I’m going home after two weeks. It’s amazing. Their PT Department headed by such caring individuals like Miss Kim and Santino , I can’t say enough about everyone in it from the top down, they push you but in a good way and if you’re planning on getting any PT for yourself, I recommend Huntington Valley physical therapy I give them a 10 out of 10 thank you.

There is a high rate of falling out of bed in this place with many going to the hospital from injuries sustained. Families need to start speaking up about this. My husband came to Huntington Valley after being discharged from a severe stroke. He was only there 3 weeks when he fell out of bed not once, but twice. The night before and the next morning. The 2nd time he hit his head on his iv pole and needed to be taken to UCI trauma where he was placed in a neck brace (still have the photo). After his return to Huntington Valley he swiftly declined and ended up passed from pneumonia. I think a full investigation needs to take place of all the patients who have fallen out of bed in 2025 and ended up at the hospital. Families need to step forward and file a class action lawsuit.

i’m only here, because google thinks i know something about this place just playing at the pokemon go gym here so here’s a rumor i picked up at their gym: the nurse’s aide(s) that work here perform reconstructive surgeries here and from home walking on the backs of others with football cleat(s).

Very high nurse turnover; at least two new per shift, per week. Often unhealthy food, very salty, or very sweet. Unbelievable that they serve it to a population which majority has high blood pressure and/or diabetes! The disorganisation of nurses duties is apparently due to chaotic administration which assigns a CNA to patients randomly distributed throughout the facility. Ex: they have a patient at rm 1, bed a (1A), and 14C, located in a different hallway, rather than physically CONSECUTIVE rooms, or ALL the patients in the same room, ex: 1A/2A3A, Then 3A/B/C. In blocks of say 6 physically consecutive rooms. Makes sense to me, but not to admin here! Cmon! Thus all nurses must quickly hustle all over the place and thus most stay slender (smile). But what’s good for their figures means 99.9% of food is COLD by the time it’s served. And there’s only one tiny economy micro (so small that a popcorn bag doesn’t completely fit!) and it’s very slooww. Further, about 20% of patients refuse their food altogether. Not a favourable light for the $400 per day they charge here, or Medicare pays, or whatever insurance you have. Go somewhere else! Before you send your parents or loved ones here, I suggest you tour several facilities and taste at least one meal. And ask current residents their opinions. (Spoiler-everyone soon wants out!) Really, this place is at best 2/5 on its best moments. Best to go elsewhere, if you can!

Had a wonderful experience with the staff at Huntington Valley Care Center! They are very compassionate, attentive, and professional, creating a friendly environment for patients and families alike. Highly recommend this facility for anyone seeking quality care.

My uncle is currently staying at this facility. At first I was skeptical about it. The first visit of course looking and watching whats going on. After that I found that they really are doing a good job taking care of him. The nurses are very helpful and nice. They check on him and that’s a good thing. They do tell me what is happening with him. The place is clean…cleaner than what I have seen at other places. We were there this morning and my wife said there is not a bad smell anywhere. Overall its a good place. There will be others who think otherwise but step back and look at the whole picture. Not worth it to nit pick on one thing.

I had the opportunity to visit this facility, and let me tell you, the staff are so welcoming and the residents seem very happy and well taken care of. I’d highly recommend this facility for your loved one.

I am so very happy with the care given to my sister at Huntington Valley. She is always clean and well cared for. I am especially grateful for the kind and loving attention given to my sister by CNA Dolores Duarte. She’s an angel and cares for my sister as if she were her own family.

Excellent rehabilitation and the staff there are very friendly

The best asset to Huntington Valley is their therapy team run by Dave! His fabulous physical therapy team, Meijeong, Yoselin, Chelsea and Ashley…his speech/swallow therapy team, Pei and Clifford and occupational therapy, Ashley. They are at the top of their game in helping the patient make great strides in their recovery! I also want to give a shout out to nurse Angelina who goes above and beyond to care for her patients! These are Huntington Valley’s true stars who get 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ from me!

Great care facility near Huntington Beach Hospital. The staff is caring, the place is clean, and they offer 24/7 nursing plus on-site lab services. Highly recommend!

No foul odor friendly and helpful staff patient reports wonderful care the food not so much but that’s typical in that setting I wouldn’t hesitate to send a relative to this center.

My mom and dad were placed here in 2017 after their car was hit by another car. It was all hands on deck by physical therapy PT/OT, nursing staff who got my parents back on their feet successful especially for my mom’s injuries. Today we are trying to get my dad back here for PT/OT after a hospital stay in Los Alamitos. The goal is to get him back on his feet which is exactly what HVCC skilled nursing did for my parents in 2017. Fingers crossed 🤞 that it works out.

My father has been at Huntington VaIy Hlthcare 3 months now. I am very happy with the care he has received from the Nursing, CNA’s, PT and the many other departments. I wouldn’t know what to do without their help in areas that have so unfamiliar for me.

My uncle was placed at this facility. Everyone was nice, very helpful from the RN, to CNA and the therapy crew. I recommend this place to everyone.

Great rehab services

Huntington valley healthcare the facility itself is modern, clean, and well-organized. The waiting areas were comfortable, and I appreciated how the center prioritizes patient privacy and comfort. Very nice staff!

I had a family member here about a year ago. I sincerely was grateful for their compassionate staff members. My family felt very confident our father was in great hands.

My mother in law was in here for 6 months. The staff and therapy team did an amazing job getting my mother in law to walk again. Thank you to Huntington Valley Healthcare.
